Sidepull bridle (BioThane)

A full sidepull bridle, complete with headstall and sidepull noseband. Reins and browbands sold separately.

A sidepull is a type of bitless bridle that works by dispersing rein pressure to the nose only, with no leverage or rein pressure amplification. It is widely considered to be the lowest strength type of bitless bridle.

Designed specifically for use bitless, this bridle features a wide, anatomically shaped pad over the poll for improved pressure distribution and horse comfort. The jowl strap and lower position of the cheekpieces ensures that the straps keep well clear of the sensitive eye area.

This sidepull is built on the Inca Equestrian exclusive noseband design: developed with enhanced equine comfort in mind and is individually hand made in the UK. To adapt this for use as a hackamore noseband, simply swap out the rings for your shanks.

Made from high quality, genuine 'leather look' BioThane. This material:

• is lightweight
• retains flexibility over a large temperature range
• has increased abrasion resistance
• has increased tear and crack resistance
• has a sensitive, non-plasticy feel
• is easily washable with a bit of soap and water
• is resistant to mould and mildew
